Hakuba House is a comfortable and friendly ski lodge in a great location only 180m from the resort. Sitting at 890m, this mountain ski lodge is in the exclusive area of Wadano, right on the spectacular Japanese Alps. The lodge is above the chair lifts of Hakuba’s Happo One and is virtually ski in ski out. Most of the time you can ski right to the front door and more often than not ski down to the Sakka lifts. Otherwise it’s just 180m walk to the entry point of the Happo One ski area.

Hakuba House prides itself on delivering comfortable accommodation in a friendly and laid-back atmosphere. With underfloor heating, en-suited rooms, pool table, bar, open fireplace and local booking service for restaurants, ski/snowboard hire, lessons, sightseeing and back country tours. The heart and hub of Hakuba House is the Bar and Lounge which comes complete with plasma screen, Cable TV, DVD Library, comfortable lounges, bean bags and a great selection of wine, sake, spirits, beers and cocktails.

Hakuba House provides a personalised and friendly service from the owners and staff. All guests receive free transfers to and from Hakuba station or Happo Bus Terminal within reasonable hours, a full continental breakfast every day and free wireless broadband internet.

Hakuba boasts over 11 metres of annual snow fall with versatile terrain for all snow riders. Happo One is the valley’s premier resort and home to Japan’s highest vertical drop of over 1100m! The longest run is 8km from top to bottom!
