Hakuba in summer is mild and comfortable. With beautiful blue skies, fresh mountain air in the spectacular setting of the Japanese Alps.  Hakuba House is perfectly positioned as the highest lodge in Hakuba.

We are surrounded by short nature walks and rivers and streams. Hakuba’s 3000m peaks are within easy access as are some of the most famous hikes in Japan. One of the best Onsens and the only private Onsen in Hakuba is just next door, with many more to choose from in Wadano.
There are plenty of summer activities to choose from or just relax with a BBQ lunch and swim by the Lake.
