bars and unique nightlife.
Echoland has a large number of
bars within walking distance of
each other. Although Goryu,
Happo and Wadano have a good
selection of bars providing for
a vibrant nightlife.
Onsens
Onsen is Japanese for Natural Hot Springs and Hakuba has many great Onsens to
sooth those sore muscles after a day on the slopes. Onsen water is believed to
have healing powers derived from its mineral content. No trip to Japan is
complete without a visit to an Onsen. Hakuba has a great mix of indoor and
outdoor onsens with some of the best within 5 minuntes of Hakuba House. In fact,
one of the best Onsens, Azekura Sanso www.azekura.com , is right next door to
the lodge. They also host private Onsens for their shy visitors. |
